Driveways & Paving

Testimonials

"Initially we were concerned that the installation of our driveway would not be up to scratch, what with the horror stories you hear, but we had nothing to fear. Town & County Paving gave us a high quality and great looking driveway" - Mr. R Moores, Woking

Planning Permission

Since October 2008 a new regulation has been put in place that may require planning permission is sought for new paved areas such as Block Paving, Concrete or Tarmac which prevent rainwater from dispersing. These regulations are designed to prevent the drainage systems and by extension rivers from being overfilled when rain fall is high and causing unnecessary flooding.

These new regulations tend to apply to any area between the front of a property and a public road that exceeds 5 square meters.

Town & County Paving will always look to incorporate the appropriate draining systems, including storm drains when required to ensure compliance with regulations and to protect the paving from undue wearing from the elements. Due to this, it is NOT always a requirement to apply for planning permission but our highly experienced staff will assess the potential site and advise you on a case by case basis.

Please be aware that if planning permission is required it can take up to 6-8 weeks to complete.
